Winter Solstice at Newgrange Heritage Site

Today was a magical day at Newgrange, our 5300 year old neolythic neighbour here in the Boyne Valley. At midday today, the shortest day in the year, the beams of winter sunshine shone down the passage into the central chamber, as if illuminating a path through history.
