Absolutely delightful stay for 2 nights and the staff were very polite and eager to help with any requests. The food was some of the best I've had at any hotel, and I've stayed at many around the world. Very popular for weddings, so it might be a good idea to check ahead to see if you will be sharing your stay with wedding-goers.

We were married on the grounds of the Station House in August 2010, using the sunken circle which was formerly the carriage turntable as the ceremony space. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and everything was dealt with calmly and with the utmost professionality. We recently returned for a meal and overnight stay and we were upgraded to the plush wedding suite which was just wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. The grounds and outdoor space are beautiful aswell as usable and the hotel has an intimate and timeless feel.

Staff most helpful,Food excellent I would return and also recommend this hotel to my friends.For strangers it would be helpful to have better direction signs.

The location is great, being away from the hustle and bustle of the city and we had a very relaxing time. The staff were very attentive and nothing was any bother. The food was excellent - couldn't fault it. Thanks for a great time, will certainly be back again.

On arrival at hotel we were very impressed with the overall surroundings, beautiful setting, the hotel itself was spotless & on arrival we met with the most helpfull I think manageress who spent as much time as was needed to accomodate us into rooms (eg near each other as there was four of us) Rooms were on the small side but spotless & had en-suite, tea making facilities ect, I would recommend this hotel for a romantic stay, we had my brothers wedding here & it was beautiful as they had the blessing in the hotels grounds & of course the beautiful weather we had on that day 22nd April helped make it so, Yes I would go back & will very shortly with my husband (who could not make wedding due to work) for romantic break. Enjoy all who goes there you will be garanteed professional, friendly service & also if you have diet needs as I am COELIAC they will cater for all which I find great, food for wedding was exceptional for me, so thank you for making my stay with you a real pleasure. I had my wedding at the Station House it was everything I hoped for and more. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The grounds were the perfect place to have the ceremony and the whole day was beautivul from start to finish. Thanks to all the staff for making my day so special.
