  • Light lunch on Wednesday prior to the group activity (between 12.30pm – 2pm)
  • Wednesday Workshop (Afternoon group activity from 2pm – 5.30pm)

Wednesday Workshop Schedule

16th July, Swainstown Farm to Fork Experience with Arthur Preston and Station House Head Chef, Gordon Mooney:

  • Swainstown Farm in Kilmessan, less than 1km from the hotel, has been one of the hotel’s key partners for many years, supplying us with seasonal vegetables, salads, flowers, eggs and when available, lamb, all picked and delivered to us on the same day. Owners, Arthur & Larrissa, are dedicated to producing healthy, nutrient dense food while promoting ecosystems, biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions and waste. Their farm is 100% chemical free with a focus on regenerative agriculture and protection of wild areas. The workshop kicks off at 2pm at Swainstown Farm where Arthur will take you on a 2-hour farm tour, talking about their sustainable farming techniques, all the tricks of the trade and more on sustainability.
