Join renowned landscaper Martin Fagan for an inspiring afternoon exploring the art of gardening, planting, and landscape design at The Station House. Guests can look forward to expert advice on planting, pruning, garden planning, sustainable landscaping, and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, all while experiencing the hotel’s celebrated gardens.
The Station House has long been renowned for its beautiful grounds, featured for many years on the Boyne Valley Garden Trail and most recently in Shirley Lanigan’s Open Gardens of Ireland. Working alongside Thelma and Suzanne Slattery over the past five years, Martin, affectionately known as Marty, has brought renewed creativity and energy to the gardens through thoughtful landscaping and sustainable planting.
This exclusive overnight experience includes:
- One night’s accommodation in one of our boutique luxury bedrooms
- Freshly prepared à la carte breakfast
- Light lunch or traditional cream tea on arrival prior to the workshop (served between 12.30pm – 2pm)
- Wednesday Workshop experience from 2pm – 5.30pm
- Three-course dinner in the award-winning Signal Restaurant on Wednesday evening
- Evening turndown service with artisanal chocolates
Check in and unwind in the heart of the Boyne Valley. Explore the local countryside with our complimentary bicycles, enjoy scenic walks nearby, or simply relax on the Terrace or beside the fires. On Tuesday evening, savour casual Irish dining in the Platform Bar & Terrace before waking to a freshly prepared à la carte breakfast.
